What: NSCL opens its doors for the community. The afternoon of free activities will show hundreds of visitors behind the scenes of our research and facility.
- Continuous showings of “Nucleus Factory”, the PBS documentary about NSCL
- A Demonstration Fair where scientists show off everything from superconducting magnets to nuclear decay
- Guided tours with a specialist in each room, ready to introduce guests to the lab’s complex and powerful machinery
- A children’s corner, art exhibit, and much more
