Leadership, research groups and visiting scientists

NSCL is supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation and Michigan State University. The Laboratory Director is appointed by the Provost of Michigan State University in consultation with the U.S. National Science Foundation.

The Director is supported by the Executive Director, key functions that report directly to him, and four Associate Directors responsible for research, laboratory operations, new initiatives, and education.
