From symmetry Magazine: Raising MoNA

Operated by a collaboration of NSCL users, the modular neutron array (MoNA) can measure both the speed and direction of neutrons after a rare isotope beam strikes the target. MoNA collaborators, including many undergraduate students, visited the lab several times this summer to manage the process of disassembling, moving and reconfiguring the array as part of the 2007 reconfiguration. Their experience is described in the August 2007 issue of symmetry Magazine.
