NSCL reports on significant laboratory-related news in the form of press releases, audio interviews and short produced videos. The laboratory also maintains a database of faculty publications, which can be browsed by year or publication type. NSCL is registered as compliant with the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards, reflecting a rigorous pursuit of excellence in laboratory systems relating to quality (see NSCL Quality Policy); and environmental management, occupational health and safety (see NSCL Environment, Safety and Health Policy). Please note that these policies are being revised so that both NSCL and the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams project, which was established with the June 6, 2009 signing of a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy, are compliant with these standards. And of course, the laboratory is committed to promoting advancement of women and minorities in science.
