ReA3 Beam List for PAC38

Due to the limited operational experience with ReA3, PAC38 will consider only experiments using the following beams and intensities. Be aware that mixed isomeric states are possible, and noted in the table below (g-ground, m-metastable).

The list below is for ReA3 experiments only. If you plan to propose a very low energy "stopped beam" experiment, for example using LEBIT or BECOLA, you are not necessarily limited to this list, and the intensity will be different. For stopped beam experiments that do not use ReA3, please contact David Morrissey to obtain an approximate rate and tuning time for the beam you intend to propose.

We anticipate that beams of the following elements may be developed early in the ReA3 program: P, S, Ca, Br, As, and Sr. New elements will be developed based on user demand and guidance from the NSCL Program Advisory Committee. We expect dramatic improvements with respect to rate and the number of beams to be offered over the next two years.
